Temporary Address presents new works by Irish artists Luke van Gelderen, Frances Hennigan, and Lana May Fleming at the SWAB Independent Art Fair in Barcelona, 2026. Across painting, print, and sculpture, the artists explore how identity is constructed, performed, and circulated online, examining tensions between authenticity and artifice, gender and identity cultures online.

Luke van Gelderen brings imagery from Justin Bieber’s paparazzi interactions into his image-transfer works, exploring vulnerability, performance, and contemporary masculinity. Frances Hennigan’s White Metal series employs celebrity portraiture and silver-inlaid phrases to examine the standardisation of emotion and political language for algorithmic circulation. Lana May Fleming’s plaything series presents the pig-fluencer as a hybrid of fashion doll, animal, and digital persona, questioning the boundaries between the physical body and its online image.

Together, the works consider identity as something continually shaped through visibility, performance, modification, and circulation.
